February 29th, 2008Flying to Hong Kong soon

I wonder if I could access any internet during the 12-13 days…. haha… sigh

Good luck to me.

February 27th, 2008Coach Xue’s Birthday

I went to Coach Xue’s house on that day to celebrate his birthday instead of going to RP as anyway, I do not have enough time to travel down form East Coast to Bukit Batok.

Met up with Jaryl, Yao De and Chang Heng then we went down together. When we reach there, a lot people were already there. Started to eat a lot and have fun. Students from RP were also there already. Celebrated coach xue’s birthday and we left… Play with darts and a lot of funny things happen as well… Was a very very fun birthday. I cannot describe well as it was very very messy that day. Haha

Anyway Pictures speak louder than words. Have a look at the images. :)

Wednesday today… 3 more days before I fly… sigh…

February 26th, 2008Cut my hair

My hair was super long and messy before I cut it today. I totally have no time to cut them latey… or maybe I am too lazy to cut. Haha…. Damn paisey lor… first time cut hair at a salon that i never went before… i always cut at the uncle there or at the auntie that I always go with Hong Wei… Went to an unknown place today…

Went in and the lady ask, “cut hair ar?”
I was thinking, ” obviously, if not i go salon buy food ar?”
I said, “Yea.”

Anyway, hair cutting session started.. it was damn long la.. but anyway happy with the result of my hair.

When my hair was cut, the radio was playing a song and the chinese lyrics goes like “Cry, cry, cry” and some of the hair that the lady cut drop on my nose and make it sensitive….=.=… i cried…. OMG…Still, conclusion, I like my hairstyle. haha

Saw Mark Lee today at Newton Food Center when we went to eat after wufang training. Mark Lee was with his wife and talking to Coach Vincent and then he went off.. He was tall and actually quite handsome. haha I actually quite respect him and his master, Jack Neo. Both of them “break things” (”突破”) for Singapore. Singapore need more people like them.

OMG, my routine I do sucks today lea… how to compete like that… stamina also went down…. Thanks a lot…. sigh… doing all 3 routines at RP tomorrow… hope all will go well and I better wake up.

I overslept today and miss the RP training….. wth la but anyway it will be a good rest for my back and legs. I woke up only when Jun An called me… OMG… but heng is Rulang’s training is canceled.

Had a performance at some temple today with David, Hao Meng, Bing Han and Cystella. Nothing much except Bing Han hit the stage’s decoration twice and Jaryl’s sick… Hope he is well now.. 4 more days before I fly to HK…

If this continues, I will be sure that my legs will be broken and can’t even walk.

February 22nd, 20081 whole week of tough training

After 1 whole week of tough training, i rewarded myself with a MacSpicy now.

Its been so long since I last train such vigorously, the feeling is great but tiring…

Monday: Training at Republic Poly
Tuesday: Training at Wufang
Wednesday: Training at Republic Poly
Thursday: Training at Wufang
Friday: Training at Republic Poly

The routines are such tiring… I don’t know how many routines I have done… The amount of full routine I done this week is like way more than what I have done in past 3 months. The “Ti Ne” also kill me… i am just too tired… haah

Injuried, Hospitalized, Muscles Pulled… Top Athlete all injured before, tired before, almost give up before but they have one thing in common…. they never give up… Jiayou Guo Hong

Next week I have to do 2 routines together….. that will be very tiring.

Flying off soon…

As i listed, those are a few famous top level domains (tld)

.com = communication / community ( both is what i commonly heard but no one know the extact one)
.net = network
.org = organization
.biz = business
.info = information

Someone ever asked me is there a main difference between them? I will say no. For you to find a non-organization to be using a .org domain, for a non-informative site to be using a .info domain can easily be found.

So I can just register any that I like if I want?

Of course you can but actually I have a personal preference which I want to share with you, if you are opening a website ( lets say a blog service site ), you got a freeblogservice.net domain and you got very famous… If you do not own freeblogservice.com ( its .com domain ), you might be losing out as you are losing the traffic to the .com. Good websites often travel by the words of mouth or by human’s memory. They may only remember your website as freeblogservice but not sure if it is .com or .net… Instinctly, they will choose the .com domain. Why? I think it may be because the first website a human ever encounter is always .com

There are a lot of websites that their website is base on other .tld but they own or buy over the .com of the name.

pixel2life.net - a web tutorial website which base their website on .net also own its .com where it will redirect to the .com

That is one good example which is on the top of my brain now.

But, note that I am not saying that it is not good or bad to have a website without its .com.

February 12th, 2008Tips

Some reminder and tips for myself, when creating a lot of databases of the same “category” website…Use short form to remember which website it is for. The suffix is the website’s “name”

Example:
guohong_dir1dn
guohong_dir2lb

Just had my chingay rehearsal just now.. I am tired.

February 10th, 2008Last day of “Bai Nian”

For most chinese, every year we will go “拜年” ( Bai Nian ) which means visit relatives and some things.. I am not too sure.. haha I am from the younger era de…. Not sure whats all these things are about.

Chinese New Year also known as  Lunar New Year happens roughly at January or February as for year 2008, the year of rat, it happens  in February.  All things went the same for me but for the 3rd day… ( 初三), I go to my coach house and visit him and his parents… though he is not married but also give us Hong Bao.. haha… Play “Bun Luk” with Coach Xin Ru and the dealer and after that Coach Xue… Jasper and Jowen was sitting beside and and yea… they give me a lot of luck.. haha… minimum bet of $2 le….. Though they give me luck, i still lost money after that… I lost around $8 I think… but haha had so much fun..

After that, Jaryl came but I left to find my friends.. We went to watch Kung Fu Dunk by Jay Chou… okay lah… didn’t really like the movie le…Reach home at around 3am.

February 8th, 2008Goals

Have you ever give up on your dreams?
Have you ever give up on your aims?
Have you ever give up on your goals?

Have you ever wondered how it feel to give up something you have been wanting so much all the while?

Be it wushu, webmaster stuffs or even a simple aim to make your parents happy for 1 day. Have you ever stop, give up or even delay because of things that come into your way?

I had done so
I am doing so
I will do so

Have you?

Its not easy to give up on things that you always desire, giving up on things that one has been working towards to for the past years.

Your tears
Your sweat
Your blood
Your soul
Your time

How wasteful will it be? But sometime you just have to give up.. Give up everything you have in you, with you. Give them up and leave regrets… Have you ever regret something you ever give up.

One aim to be able to do all the wushu stunts but because of his work, he stop wushu.
One aim to represent Team Singapore but because of school, he quit wushu.
One aim to be able to do movements but because of injuries, he stop wushu.
One aim to win medals in interschool but because of studies, he neglected wushu.
One aim to be able to do his routine well but because of laziness, he dropped wushu.
One aim to win medals for his school but because of boredness, he unprioritize wushu.

One has so many reasons to stop moving towards their aim, goal. If they know if they had it coming, will they still aim? Will they still put their goal?

IF you think, its bullshit to you, I give you time to think… Have you ever give up on something that you aim, you want?
